Thanks FGB...it really wasn't a personal remark. Agree with your sentiments. I'm 62 so my observations should be seen in that light I guess.
FWIW My WIFE is the mother of my children. Unfortunately like you some things go adrift despite the best intentions. :) I don't know what I've now got..not a partner and as you say the word 'girlfriend' sounds a bit exaggeratedly young!
I guess its best we just stand back and laugh at ourselves!
