my reading is that funding only applies to direct court costs going forward not the six figure sum to thier old lawyers. having the bill reviewed does not take long and then if the lawyers do withdraw the Stat Demand what will be the deal? (how much more will they get in exchange? double? tripple? for waiting and taking a huge risk). you also need to realise that if the lawyers don't withdraw the Stat Demand then it is curtains for chm as soon as the correct amount for the bill is handed down. as soon as that happens the old lawyers can appoint receivers (even if the bill has been altered). why chm has not been suspended already by asx amazes me. they didn't even answer the last query with proper disclosure. litigation funding arrangements often include a term whereby suspension from the asx would also terminate the funding. the issue for chm shareholders is not 'will they win the case or not'. it is 'will the company go belly up before xmas'.
