re: wheat grower class action
Was speaking with my next door neighbour today whose wife used to work for the AWB last year and has a few friends still in the ranks. He was saying that the whole show is in disarray as all the movers and shakers when it comes to shifting grains are dealing with legal issues obviously to do with the Cole Inquiry. The jobs left to do are beyond the capacity of the staff who are not required to give evidence at the inquiry.
Bloody great! Government forces me to sell my wheat to an outfit that doesn't even have the capacity to get the grain to market. Absolute disgrace. As wheat growers maybe we should launch a class action against the National Party for insisting the industry remain under the shackles of compulsory acquisition of export wheat.
How many more executives will leave the organisation and what financial packages will they expect of shareholders? This is going to get so bloody messy.
