Another thing to consider is the advantage of holding the stock over 12months to get some CGT relief when selling it down the track. All good to run in hot as the project is about ready to go when the SP is rising but when you get in real early and are'nt a "trader" then the advantage is selling out with a 50% reduction of tax..... just saying.
