The courts have had their say, but as shareholders we can have our say.
The problem we have as shareholders is an image problem, as shareholders we are viewed as greedy, profiteers. If we were some community group, or refugee or a disadvantaged commuter the story in the papers would have the Govt fixers working overtime.
No doubt the Vic Govt has run the numbers and knows the number of Vic LKO shareholders and their location and decided that there is neither the numbers or demographics to cause them any issues.
But that doesn't stop us voting against the current Vic Govt on principle, and as a broader shareholder base voting against Labour nationally, if there is any hint that this could cost Andrew's boss a chance at PM then we might make a change we need to get on with business.
Surely there is a LKO shareholder with enough clout to get a class action in play, not for the purpose of proceeding but for the purpose of putting out enough media press, negativity and doubt that what I mentioned above will get Labour pollies nervous.
As shareholders we have the power and we will remain shareholders beyond the next set of State and Federal elections something that Andrew's and Shorten cannot say about their jobs.
