The former head of Atlas Iron is reinventing himself in a graphite-exposed company called Battery Minerals, which is developing the Montepuez project in Mozambique. Investor interest in Battery Metals is high, with a recent $20 million capital raising heavily over-subscribed.
Construction work at Montepuez has already started with production expected to start early next year, by which time work should have started on a second graphite project in Mozambique.
