This was fact Joe, the fact that it would mean for employees to challenge the company practices, legally would cost them a lot of money. The fact that the company chose to do this speaks volumes about management even if it doesnt end of being legally challenged!
REPEAT: It is not practical for most employees to challenge their employers, because employees will expend more money in legal costs than most can afford!

Joe, I believe that line of thinking is so one dimensional. People may have many different interests in a company. EG" I could be a supplier to Hills, I could also be a customer of Hills wanting to know what is going on. I could be an employee or an ex employee, I could have a family member working there.
I could be someone who is looking for a distributor nationally for my products.
I could be an overseas agent looking for an agent in Australia
I may have been a shareholder but now an avid follower.
I may be looking to invest.
There could be many reasons and valid reasons why people follow and discuss stocks Joe, to have an opinion or/and an interest does not mean you have to own shares at the time of writing.
Because you have shares and someone else doesnt, doesnt mean your status has to be imposed on others, so definitely not a waste of time Joe
