well today the market was neutral opened and closed on the same line almost.
RUM share price went up yesterday and come down yesterday and again today.
Someone or a group is shaking the tree to see if they can get those who are tired of the share price going up and down that they sell and move on.
It wasn't all that long ago that the share price was down in the low 10's and then came up hard. If you look across the board at fertiliser stocks they are all showing signs of being down.
I look at FMJ for example and that went like a rocket and now look at it.
There just seems to be a general lull in Fertiliser stocks for now. It will be interesting to see what happens if any problems hit Morocco where a large part of the world gets its Phosphate from including Tunisia.
I am starting to feel (not just because I own the stock btw)a little more bullish on RUM because the data that is coming out is starting to look promising.
I would not be to surprised if Management is not working behind the scenes for some sort of JV or Cap raising.
I base this on the very simple fact that - Where are they going to get at least 2 billion dollars from? Some will have to come from Loans if they are going to do it by themselves, the rest from Capital raisings. This will dilute stock we already own and I see a lot of very grumpy rum holders moving in if that were to happen. It's only my opinion but it will go to both share holder and institutional investors.
The other game is that a small cap raising, JV one of the patches (please excuse the use of the term patches) and they work on the other, or we are subject to a T/O?
I often wonder when I talk to my spouse about the stock what they are doing? I mean I am sure they know exactly what they are sitting on. I am sure, as they have already discussed getting additional approvals from NT Government for exploration extension. Again, they have been having talks with Port of Darwin. So they must be doing something behind the scenes for the mining of the deposits right? I feel from previous companies I have held that what ever they are doing is "still not concrete enough to announcement to the market"?
For now I am happy to sit back and hold. I am not going to be shaken out of my tree by someone that wants a slice of the pie at these prices or lower.
The way you stop that is by taking your sell orders off the table in my humble opinion. (that?s not advise, ok, its just my opinion), so if the tree shakers want my shares their going to have to pay full price thank you very much. This is a long-term investment and we realised it when we bought the stock.
