Not sad...just part of the landscape of the asx nowadays....the big end of town thieve from the retail s/h....in the final analysis.....the rich get richer...quite often overseas interests win as in this case. But QLD gov had the opportunity to grab this CSIRO patented technology......but their answer was to continue to create hoops for CNX to jump through to appease the greenies. Now amazingly...Adani have been welcomed with open arms with their filthy open cut coal mining....what happened to the greenies with Adani ? Where were they when the real environmental assassins came in through the front door ? They have cost themselves..they have cost us too...appalling really. I hope CNX goes on to become a multi billion dollar UCG powerhouse, just to 'stick it' to QLD. Unfortunately I'll never see my money again....unfortunately at this heavily discounted price I suspect Kam Lung & his interests will shortly own CNX outright and base the company overseas where the technology is welcome. PS just to rub salt in our wounds...the chief scientist for QLD declares that the UCG technology is environmentally safe....just before the company went broke. Why we couldn't sue them still puzzles me.
