    Hi Tim
Ive uploaded a couple of charts for your comments...
Im not sure im comparing apples to apples when i look at these charts.
Chart 1, is from argos website showing exactly your comments on substantive lack of SP increase, but if dividends and franking credits are added back in( in an accumulation fashion) we get approx a fourfold increase(since 2008).
Chart 2 is the asx accumulation index, which according to my two seconds of research apparently also shows shares prices with an accumulation of dividends and franking credits added back in,giving very approximately a threefold increase(since 2008). My charts only go back 10yrs not the 15yrs you had previously stated sorry im not covering the period you mentioned but your post got me thinking on the lic vs etf question.
The amount of information available while very large isn’t always readily comparable to address this I’ve picked the accumulation index as being representative of etfs and assuming  the Argos info is accurate it would appear Argos has been better than an etf(well assuming the etf is representative of the this index).
I’ve followed your posts on other threads and have enjoyed and agreed with your research , if I’ve got this wrong could you please explain your reasoning?
    Thanks luk26 5A3A7300-F19C-41EA-9FEE-F3284C2C9715.png 8857FF5D-D8C4-408D-A82F-2046DBA18B77.png
