I noticed that Argo is now significantly under the performance of the ASX accumulation index on a 15 year basis. The performance of these old fashioned LIC's has been really average in recent years and started to drag their numbers down on the long term metrics which are supposed to be their speciality. Is a bit of a strategic change required here? Otherwise these companies may become a little redundant when an investor can just buy a better performing ETF.
