It sounds like you’ve got it pretty much sorted.i have a couple of comments for you to consider.
Warren Buffet reckons diversity is only for those that don’t know what they’re doing...
On that basis my diversity proves i have no idea,so be careful with any advice you may glean!
So here goes if you look at the holdings of lic such as arg and mlt you’ll notice their holdings are almost identical, they even have holdings in each other. Consequently for diversity,Im looking at other types of lic or etf for future investments such as those tim has mentioned in his posts.
Also don’t discount companies that actually own other companies such as westfarmers or wh pattinson, no doubt there are more (perhaps others could chime in here? timbowls?).
Read about how to compile a portfolio as there is alot to consider, i even have a few speculative shares.They’re the most “fun”, riding a ten bagger is great, following one into receivership not so much.....
