I'm not saying AMC will hit the lofty heights of $18 because I'm hopeless at price targets but I would suggest that brokers, analysts and various other soothsayers (Rudi included) aren't much better than me at it. They do hit the stumps every now and then but they do have a lot of throws at them.

As for the trouble in Venezuela, management made a point of the troubles in that country and also Brazil and another country that I can't remember. I think the emerging countries part of AMC's overall business comes to about 5%. So the long lasting effect would questionable and will things stabilise if the military take over? Who knows?

Any weakness to this current political situation will be a buying opportunity. They are growing strongly through "now" prudent acquisitions (wasn't the case years ago).

Not that I trade or speculate but a better trade might be to look at possibly the oil price side of things as Venezuela has one of the worlds biggest reserves.
