Share Price Fall, page-11

I thought my selling today was simple. I'm merely hoping to re-enter at a lower price and buy more shares for my money. Just as simple as buying and holding and hoping for the shares to increase in value. If I was clever enough, I would've had no problem holding the shares I sold today and also shorting them. Alas, I am not - I don't know how to do that. All I know how to do is to buy and hope they increase in value.

Maybe I'm wrong and maybe I'm not. All I know is that I received great dividends over the last 2.5 years, and sold for a capital gain today. This is the first time I have ever attempted this. I have been heavily invested in shares for 4.5 years. All I've ever done is buy and hold and hold. It's not working real well for me. I am clearly not Buffett. My mates that invest in property laugh at me. I know 4.5 years is not very long in the grand scheme of things, but lord do I wish I put my money into property instead of shares over the last 4.5 years...
