What annoyed me more than anything at the time was that Mr Bouris, financial Wizard, was Chairman and he should have been able to shake the shortfall of the CR from some of his Eastern Suburbs mates out of their champagne accounts. The Dia purchase was theoretically a great cash flow move, that went pear shaped because of the CR failing to reach its target.
I agree that JH’s skin in the game was embarrassing considering his Directos fees, but Mr Bouris was given options vesting from day one and never opened his wallet once.
You are correct Brick, for all their positioning and other not so bright maneuvers First Cape have always put in and so has Geoff. And they still hold to this day and stand to lose plenty if this collapses into the mire.
