Getting on to another aspect altogether - but linking it to whatever award is made - and we hope it is to POH.
I originally invested in POH in 2012 - now in and out depending on optimism levels but back in for the last 18 months or so. My reason for investing was a real interest in the opiod patch - mainly for chronic pain - that POH was developing. I thought at the time it was an incredible idea. Given the move to address opiod addiction and overuse (including numerous overdosing cases), the idea seems even more attractive.
It does seem to me - and I admit I have not followed POH very much over the last few years as I did earlier on - that POH has moved into different areas of research and development
So, a question to those who will know more than me on all things to do with POH.
If there is indeed a decent payment made to POH (and we know what such a payment would do for partnerships/mergers/take over bids so putting that aside) and let's say we have $100mil. Would it be a valid strategy for POH to re-focus on its original break through technology and goals in the human pain killer opiod patch?
Be very interested in any ideas and comments on that. A lot of you have been with POH for a long time and have a more intimate understanding of the company.
I am at a stage where I will need to make a decision on whether to commit to a long standing investment in POH. My thinking is that the higher the award the more likely it is that I will taker a longer view. So, all comments are welcome.
