it will only happen if they become a shell play, or they announce a major deal with a large CR,
if they do a consolidation right now before drilling or results it will be plain crazy and if anyone thinks it will be a good thing is obviously new to this game and has no idea.

there is no benefit to shareholders at all, only a huge negative if they do this, as I say, without a good reason.

a good reason would be if they drill, find good results, want to raise a lot of money to go into production, it is market cap you should focus on and not shares, if it becomes a takeover target or shell play that is what they will look at.
