Woolworths directors would be well advised to read the article in today’s Fin Revue. Share buybacks definitely not in the interest of shareholders. Dividends far more effective for shareholders . Theory that buybacks are good for future EPS really only help directors with only a possibility that shareholders will benefit in the long term.
