Ben Butler's article is the icing on the cake for what was a great day for minority shareholders. There were a lot of well researched questions asked but, as Ben Butler's article indicates, some of the answers left a lot to be desired
SUSPENSION NUMBER 3 Half an hour before the AGM, PPN was suspended by the ASX because the company doesn't have the minimum 3 directors following the shock resignation of Nick Pitliangas a few days ago. I hope they find someone quickly to support the only remaining independent director, John Callanan. If you believe you have what it takes, tell PPN you are interested in joining the board. You will need approval from the liquor licence people.
CAPITAL RAISING? There was a consultant at the meeting today who says his expertise is in capital raising. Those who believed anything in the 2002 Prospectus will be wary about a capital raising in 2013. PPN has a lot of unsolved problems and a capital raising, if that is what they intend, doesn't sound like a good idea to me at the present time but I do enjoy reading spin.
