You have to put complaints made on this forum into perspective. It's an anonymous forum where people can compliment or complain for whatever reason they like. But to contextualise any complaints, it's worth noting that:
- despite the anger on this forum about the adoption of the (slightly increased) non-executive remuneration report, the result of the resolution at the AGM was an overwhelming yay-vote by a ratio of 7 to 1.
- despite the rage vented on this forum about paying the directors literally anything this year (due to perceived incompetence and/or lifestyle company issues), the remuneration report was adopted by a ratio of 11 to 1.
- despite the unending hysteria surrounding the alleged incompetence of those at the helm of EMC, the re-election of the director involved was ratified with a resounding ratio of, wait for it, 58 to 1.
Lots of people complain, but if this forum accurately reflected the voting at the last AGM you would read a negative (I mean some of the nasty tripe you have to trawl through on here at times) post on Hot Copper perhaps one post in 30.
In summary, do not ever, at any time in your life, believe that the level of satisfaction with the directors of this company is accurately reflected on this website
