If it was true and you heard about it from political party blabber mouths then sure enough many others would be aware of it and the trading volume would be rising as would the momentum and maybe some other indicators. Right now the tea leaves are indicating they are pulling your chain.
As for the internal lawyer bit and off-take agreements...I somehow doubt it otherwise they (sic: SFG) would have gone to market with an announcements of a pending off-take agreement (as it is a material change in the course of business for SFG) unless they want to scratch the rear of the ASX for failing to disclose.
Expect sub-5 cents again within the week once retail punters realise the real milestone coming up soon - Legune Station settlement or extension.
