IMHO, every time there are talks around about the possible merger of two companies, the sp drops down to lower levels.
Why.?? Because it takes out, or dampen, the real possibilities of a T/O where the investors/shareholders can benefit from a premium of the share price.
Like a few ones here, I would not be in favour of a merger at all, especially with BPT of all things. I would be happier to get cash in exchange for my shares, not shares in another company which I might not be happy to amalgamate with. Especially when, having learnt the hard way with NXS, K.S. is involved and pulling the strings as he pleases. Yep, bad lesson learnt there and a very costly one for some of us too let me tell you.
But............as they say..........to each his own.
And one more thing if I may.
The ideal situation for us, would be if STO was to take us out. Especially when we shares many assets together. But, unfortunately, I don't believe that at the moment STO would be capable to do just that.
