    I think that the US gold price will far exceed the AUD Gold price in the long run so that might be why North American Gold stocks are demanding a greater forward P/E?

    Once the USD collapses the Aussie will strengthen greatly against it and therefore limit albeit temporarily the rises in the AUD Gold price IMO.
