ASX Announcement3 December 2018Update - SER Awarded Exclusive Right to Apply for ELA 2018/185 Further to our announcement of 30 November outlining the pegging of Exploration LicenceApplications (ELAs) in the Olympic Dam Copper-Gold Province, Strategic EnergyResources Ltd (SER) is pleased to advise that SER has been granted exclusive first right to apply for ELA 2018/185. This is advantageous for SER as there is now no competitionfor ELA 2018/185.SER’s applications follow BHP’s announcement of a significant Iron Oxide Copper-Gold(IOCG) discovery at Oak Dam West. SER’s other application ELA 2018/183 remains incompetition with two other parties.
As per the ann - same as you seeking clarification .. whether its just legal phrasing or has more implications i dont know
i am guessing first right to apply means if there are multiple applications .. they may be ordered and treated in priority fashion ..or something
