After Quanta posted re NAIF loan to SFX I looked into them and bought a few. I wasn’t alone, the price spiked 10% that day after the announcement. I was encouraged by the NAIF announcement as it adds legitimacy. There are obviously varying opinions as to whether SFG will receive any help, but the point is far from moot - NAIF would do significant due diligence work, and once they get behind a project it has a much higher chance of succeeding. No one expects it to provide all the finance, just help out in some areas and get the company over the line for viability of other financing, both borrowed and equity.
