If they were successful in acquiring Ironbark, wonder if there would be a cap raising. Or if EIG would stump up the money, or would another funding option be on the table? Might cap the stock a bit if in the back of investors minds there might be a discounted cap raise down the track.
As mentioned in the article I think Santos have their hands full at the moment with Quadrant and returning to dividends.
