The board is a curates egg - good in parts. The part time chairman who has achieved a lot in his 62yrs, is given much credit for board transformation, but that is clearly still a work in progress. He also has problems in his role as Executive Chairman of Churchill Mining, whose Australian offices are in Subiaco. Things haven't been going well in their dispute with the Indonesian Government. See the latest Annual Report http://www.churchillmining.com/investor-information/annual-reports ... interesting reading. For FY16, his reported salary was $318,000 and he held 4,928,134 shares, plus some millions of options, which unfortunately appear destined to lapse out of the money again (LTI's ?).
Contrast that with his SLR position. Here he has no shares and only grosses $175k - much simpler.
For those of you who have never heard him talk or do presentations, then you should try and make the AGM.
