HLD is selling three of its divisions for a current book value profit of $500,000, the total raised will be $17Mill by June07 and will be used to pay down all of HLDs debt.
Immediate impact on earnings will be negative making FY06 a flat earnings year for HLD. However the repayment of debt will increase earnings by $1mill going forward.
The company will focus on aquisitions the provide synergies to the existing business.
