    I seem to recall that the rights of Landowners only go down to about 7 metres (or thereabouts) subsoil afterwhich mining rights kick in. So if you have a portal on "friendly" land you can angle your tunnel to a desired depth under your Tandarra farmers land and they really have no rights to stop you provided they mine in the prescribed manner as outlined by law
