I bought AQD purely for its gold prospects in west Africa. That alone (besides its cash position) warrants a major re-rating. It can easily do what AMX has done in the same country.
I held a few AQD shares in 2007 for its base metals projects, but nothing eventuated. The west African gold project is the game changer.
20 cents is a very cheap entry for a chashed up explorer looking for gold in such a prospective location.
