- I don’t think the minister really wants to shut down, but she needs a perceived ‘win’. If the thinking is to get wesfarmer to take the waste (fertilizer) elsewhere then that should be enough for the political win, and the plant would keep going. Minister saves face and LAMP keeps operating. Smart politics imo...
