Exactly the same thinking as you DSD!
The day TPM crashed, I planned to open up a pairs trade by buying TPM and shorting SOL, expecting some arb to take place.
Hasn't happened! All I can say is the market is stupidly irrational?
And since that day, TPM down further 23%, SOL down only 7%...so had I opened it, it would've killed me.
Anyway, still looking to open the trade, but need some security/base to form for TPM first...and for SOL to still be lagging at that point in time...
Also, which broker are you using to short with if you don't mind?
A few of my CFD brokers aren't offering it which was a surprise...
