All smiles here too. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
BEWARE... Positive sentiment post below. bsh Ramp attack!
--------------
Treass.... agree... WWI shares being held pretty tight now. Still a bit risky... but hey... what the heck... why sell NOW??!!!
Oppie volume.... zilch.
I have been trying to learn patience.... gotta start thinking more like "bigger money". Us lot checking this little flea-bag every minute!
Bigger fishies... pfffttt.... chuck a few dollars in... check up with management every week/month... bash 'em when they stuff up... entitled to a few cheap shares once in a while.... relax.
My day is their month.
This one will run nicely.... I just gotta learn to WAIT till it's ready to run!
-----------------
Lack of selling volume seems to prove up the reasoning that the larger volume trades 8 weeks ago may well have been on simple market crossings.... plus a chance to shake out doubtful holders.
Nothing much has ever really changed for the worse with the WWI fundamentals... just a few holders gave up waiting... some needed cash elsewhere... and the stock was forgotten... trading well below cash/asset backing.
It has started to play catch up.
Those larger trades always seemed to conveniently happen at odd hours (eg. late late late on Friday trading) during yuck days for goldies.... on a very quiet little company.
It could not help but drop to the lows... especially with the delays in access.
Now the WWI story has improved.. big trades have ceased. Seems that "someone" has noted the rapid change of sentiment... and no more sell sell sell.

Constantly searching sources for info on this one.... but not turning up much other than "Proactive Investors" and a few bits and pieces here and there.
Most of my research has required searching / "asking about" on Papua, Indo, Kahlbetzers, Mr Tunks.... etc etc... then joining dots. Plus of course tips/leads from the awesome group effort posting here on HC.
This lack of media attention is a positive in my books.... why?
If nothing other than slow and steady buying on fundamentals has got us to this position.... I am quite interested as to what IS going to happen to the market cap once the finance/media DOES start "more actively" covering this prospect.
"West Wits Mining" was even written up in "The Australian" newspaper at one stage (2009?). That sort of media hoohah always brings in some fresh holders... Patient profits can be taken.... and new blood can take on the new risk/reward profile.
All solid reports outside ASX seemed to have dried up when the alluvial project faltered.
Not a peep lately... save for Proactive
1 million shares (and Navygulf's oppies) was a piece of cake to get previously.... now... as has been pointed out... good luck on that front.
If holders stand firm.... and the story plays out.
No real volume on screen.
A lot of ASX Cinderella stories have already played out since 2008/2009. People are looking more closely at forgotten ones.... as value has been fully ascribed to some of the other bigger/better plays out there in ASX land.
Risk getting close to flat or down on some others?
Time for WWI to move up I think.
Why not?
Every dog has its day.
---------------------
Love how cruddy little explorers are rated multiples of this..... drilling holes and burning cash. Markets cap surge on a whim.
WWI gonna be digging into similar dirt within walking distance of spectacular alluvial finds.
As Dob says... revenue on the way.
Leave the cash strapped drillers to gamblers. This one much more certain chance of success.
"No completed Papau JORC" would have scared a few away. All the best with that strategy if the hydraulic circuit behaves!!
I paid for the South Africa JORC and the cash/shell/assets.
I got my Papua value for FREE!!!
JORC ... smorc. Pffffftt.
----------------------
Cap raise... just try it! I will lead the lynch mob (just kidding Tim). Ready to call in some favours. Ready to make a few calls. Mafioso. Godfather. (kidding again!)
This WWI thing is sooo cheap... and is soooo cheap to run at this stage... retail holders could practically fund it for some time.
If WWI were to need $1 million bucks extra for another few months... later in the peace... I am in for my share... and will begrudgingly pay some of their wages... providing the story holds up (good luck selling if Papua story folds).
As NG says.... $4 million on its way (we are not being told otherwise).... $1 million in the bank... assets on the ground..... assets for sale.... management willing to take shares in lieu of cash.....
No cap raise.... us lot will fund it ourselves.
If they get the nod for active hard-rock explore and drill... of course. Raise a bit if cash to hook in and get the drilling done. But not at these prices. Not a chance.

UPSIDE...?
Alluvial TRIAL MINING running within weeks, concentrator practically in transit, camp practically finished, road complete, Papua moving ahead in general, gold holding up above $1250/1300 (who knows), diggers paid for and on site, pictures of monster nuggets, willing labor on the ground, police on side, Twynam crew on side, Annual Report due within weeks, assets in hand, zero debt, assays due, cash in hand, Freeport samples.... wow, minimal cash burn, oppies itching to convert to shares, oppies will bring in more cash for WWI, South Africa potential, hard rock still on the horizon, plus uranium aspect, plus copper aspect, very tidy updates from management improving clarity (thanks!),
Plus... plus.... plus.....??????
Cap raise not a chance.
If we get our boxes ticked we will be much further north of here. Cash raise .... with the bigger money begging for a look-in.
They will be begging for a share of "West Wits Mining" stake.
I can dream!
-------------
RISKS?
Indo gives us the boot.... Quite unlikely
MLI (Mintails) flops.... Unlikely... and not the end (and besides... WWI hold the MLI assets for sale!)
No gold in gold riddled gravel.... Highly Unlikely
Site access ceases.... Possible, but unlikely with locals on side
Definitely one of those stories that seems to have more upside than downside.
---------------------
Dob... this is my take on the last update.... for what its worth. Timeline meshes better with my feeble brain.
Sep 1 ?? - procurement of concentrator underway
Sep 4 - airstrip centre line and bulk of clearing finished
Sep 22 - airstrip final clearing done finished (approx)
Sep 25 - pre-mining earthworks & site prep commence
Sep 2??? - maybe they will "schmooz" us with some assays prior to the Annual Report??
Sep 29 - Annual Report
Oct 1 - airstrip surfacing finished
Oct ??? - Planes CAN LAND!!!!!!!!
Oct 22 - Concentrator on site
Oct 29 - Concentrator running? .... "allowing SCALE-UP of mining activities"
Cracker of a month ahead.
--------------------------
Will keep reading... and post if I find anything worthwhile.
Rampy style post finished. Big Kev moment... I'm excited.
Hoping no sell-down tomorrow to burst my little bubble.
All the best punters....
