Bello - I generally support what you are saying and benson's assertion that you are naive is harsh. I doubt from reading some of his posts that he has been around traps for long and he indeed has a lot to learn ( as all of us do).

But to be fair and objective, to make an investment decision today based on current share price, it is only your option 1 that has major substance and supports buying now. I believe it is a very good buying opportunity because all anecdotal and formal evidence supports that the Malaysian contract will be signed, will be long term and will not be insignificant. What 20500 says about new locations can be validated and official letter from government to commence work is also authentic. Hence, unless a Maldives situation (which I doubt) happens, then NBS is a great buy now (in my opinion). I have put my money where my mouth is and have ncreased my holdings recently. Call me a contrarion, but NBS chequered and non performing past has allowed accumulation at these prices in recent times even with Malaysian contract looming simply because it has no credibility with investment community. Everyone who has been incredibly anti NBS have all valid points about what NBS has done in past and have themselves been financially and emotionally burnt along the way.

However what is very hard to refute is the fact that volumes have been incredibly low in recent times given there are 800 million shares on offer. It is generally only small time traders causing trades. The big money is all holding because they realise if firstly Malaysian contract comes to fruition then as a secondary consideration, Chinese contract is secured then the upside to sp is large. If NBS was considered a fraud or a lost cause then most shareholders would be scrambling over themselves to liquidate. This is obviusly not the case. However if Malaysian contract is not secured, I believe that mad scramble (myself included) will start to happen. Time will tell but I will happily support Bello in his conviction of holding.
