Probably because not one point is correct, we survived 1998, with no ill effects, and enjoyed the benefits of perfect weather since, and todays temps are the same as 1998.
The only valid point is point 2, however I think all gone might be exaggerating things somewhat. But a valid concern. Number 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are blatantly false.
