yes I agree with your comments - I've been waiting on a change in substantial holdering annoucement to confirm my thoughts.
It may however be the case that HGL is treating this AMO holding differently from its other listed company holdings. Much of Ambertechs business would sit nicely along side many of HGLs import/distribution businesses.

As a point of history- back in 2003 HGL had a crack at taking over LMC and that move ended with LMC buying back HGLs shareholding in LMC. I'm not suggesting that this may happen here but only the HGL guys know for sure what they are thinking and there are a few ways to exit and a few ways to hang on.

If the first half outlook numbers are any indication of a return to bumper profits then the HGL guys might be following our lead and sticking with or adding to their holding.....perhaps they read this forum!!!
