I did think about that and yes they get free carried on the options.
But if they invested they would have done their due diligence and
had in depth conversations with management.
they obviously weren't convinced of the story and walked away
with doubts and sold down to be free carried, they weren't willing to put
their hard earned cash on the line.

Meanwhile here at SEG the story and focus changes on a whim.
People like direction, especially if they are investing long term.
