Sorgs definately some good rains, generally over 20mm in central zones less is the marginal areas. Was a good frontal system. The best way to summarize is very very mixed. They are many areas too wet in the Albany and Esperance zone, shitehouse areas to the north and east, and everything in between.
Some crops to the east of us had already dropped tillers and were running up before this last rain. Will be a big germination of weeds to frustrate punters where crops are thin and/or late.
Some trace element deficiencies evident in late crops whose roots where severely drought pruned.
10mmt not out of the question for WA. But we will need a kind finish to the season. Not much subsoil left to finish on otherwise.
Pastures are slow to recover.
