I fully agree that the reasoning applied here is dodgy, and that the cynic in me suspects that it is more an exercise motivated by a PC agenda. That said, i'm not going to waste my time researching whether or not the documented evidence supports the notion that value investing lends itelf best to a "long term investing" ideal (not as measured by 1 year), and that this generally involves far less trading. This is obvious to me. And thus, successful investing, as a process, generally sits side-by-side lower trading.
