More importantly, what the authors are doing at best (and I'm far from convinced that even this is demonstrated) is highlighting a particular difference between women and men that leads to worse investment returns for men.
However, this ignores all the other differences between the sexes that could counter this inferiority. It is like saying men are typically physically stronger than women, therefore they can protect their children from physical threats better than women, therefore they are better parents than women.
In other words, NONSENSE!
