I may voice my disapproval at the price of the bid, as you say, but unless management solicit a higher bid, I will accept. You see, this is a true test of management's worth and maybe the reason that the stock is trading below bid prices..... exactly BECAUSE they are seem as a slim chance of finding a higher bid. If they fail then I don't want them as management,and if they succeed I am happy to see them make a few dollars on the way through as a success fee.
For the record I think they will get a higher bid and the stock will go up from here, but that's only a hunch and nothing more....
