The challenge that I put to you was that while accusing Kam of making statements that you assessed to be "just plain confusion" that you make confusing statements yourself.
Hi whereu, not sure what your point is, but I believe its about the suffering of innocent people, to be honest, I don't know why, everybody grieves and don't like people suffering.
I also raised a point of the suffering of innocent millions - the absent of action by God is regarded by some as just God moving in mysterious ways.
If it were in my power to do something about their suffering, I would. What I do attempt in the grand scheme of things only makes a small difference. But, it appears that either God doesn't care or if he does he is not omnipotent.
Early Christians also believed that Christ would return within a generation. Of course that never happened, and some make a meal out of "he will return soon" to wipe out non-believers.
Suffering happens and does have an impact on most of us. What part, if any, does God play in this?
