Now seriously Kam, do you think by quoting this one, guy, it gives ANY credibility, surely you know better than that??? They are the key players for the first and necessary basics, first milk getting lost, stolen around 150 years after Jesus. The very cause, reason for this disunity which you are fully aware of, the one Spirit of truth has been lost, tossed aside.
The language of the verses I gave you, Jesus disappeared into the clouds, rose into them and comes again in like manner, out of the clouds, is very clear and simple language. To suggest this is only referring to spiritual here, is no more than creating your own wants, land of the fairies and Not of God.
You also seem to totally ignore Jesus's efforts, especially to Thomas, that He, Jesus was NOT a Spirit.
You need to pay attention the exactly why God raised Jesus; Acts 2:24 - Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because--> it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 1 Cor 15:51-54 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, (Die) but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal mustput on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
So putting on incorruptible is putting on the White, clean robes, The Word of God, Truth of. 1 Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus makes it very clear as to what he means by water --> John 4:14 - But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
So the water is clearly, The Word of God of which Jesus was given, which THEN gave him life within himself, John 5:26 as God has in himself John 1:4, His inner word to expressed and Jesus also tells us, God's Word is Spirit, John 6:63 and the Words of eternal life John 6:68. So water, The word of God (The Word) and the Spirit of God, are all referenced, interchanged, meaning one in the same, from The One and only Almighty God and Father --> The Word, Spirit, The Holy.
Rev 6:11 - And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Rev 7:14 - And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and washed the robes of them, and made white them in the blood of the Lamb. Rev 22:14 (Greek) - Blessed those washing the robes of them, that will be the right of them to the tree the life, and by the gates they shall enter into the city.
The language here Kam, as with many OT passages of the future is, they come out of the Tribulation great, are given and they, some, wash their robes, put on the Truth, incorruptible. So clearly this suggests, they enter tribulation without the clean robes, whole truth or the Key basics. Even though some, many are off track, they will still die for what they believe.
Hence Jesus in places says or makes references to, Enduring to the end, holding fast to the key basic truths and not just molding into the way of the world or how man thinks God's word should evolve for today, the peoples, appeasing the people and not God. His truth is non-negotiable and zero grounds to change any of it or it's meanings after Jesus, as we now have the one Spirit of Truth to guide us all. However, from what I see of the Bible passages, step away from the key basics, first milk and you will not be getting led via the correct one.
