Not quite and I didn't really say anything about whether those natural processes were a result of will and purpose.
Nature provides all the conditions for life and clearly everything in Nature, including humans, is subject to those conditions.
However, as mentioned, the outcome for an individual can be quite different depending on a number of things, particularly whether that individual has found a practical path that is not welded to the general course of the river. Such a path is still one subject to laws and "Divine" purpose but different laws with the possibility of a different outcome. Once this journey has begun, understanding what is needed becomes progressively clearer.

A "shortcut path" for those older with less time to waste and completely convinced that meaningful answers and purpose will not be found in the trappings of ordinary life, is to learn to sit still, open and listen for something not part of one's familiar self. Opening to the unknown real but buried Conscience. This is not as easy as it sounds especially without guidance as imagination and ego are ever present factors.

Or, you could repent and become a JW !!
