The pink ball is more visible for poor light and the use of lights if available will ensure all play possible.

Conditions is key in Test matches. The players have to just get on with these changes and accept them if they want to maintain interest in the sport.

Just like the pitch or the heat or cold, the ball is part of the conditions of play.
