The TDO seismic concept was correct. That is that oil in Latrobe extended from WSH into the Wardie prospect area.
One does not know the type of rock reservoir until the drill actually gets there.
Based on the limited information available it seems that the reservoir section has thickened but also has transmuted into low permeability interbedded material.
So somewhere between WSH3 - high quality and Wardie 1 - low quality - the reservoir material has altered. Not the result I hoped for but it is not water saturated and it leaves open the possibility of the single pool concept.
I noted that AZA/BPT missed on their latest drill but a sidetrack picked up the oil strata. Proves there is some local variability around.
TDO have drilled the two wells in three weeks so must be within program and budget - there may be time to do a sidetrack perhaps towards WSH3.
