No I didn't sell when I should have...some time in late 2001... I had huge paper profits....I was losing $50K a week after March 2001........that's what killed me.....not realizing this was a bursting bubble...or refusing to accept it. Like most "normal" people I made excuses, defense mechanisms etc.. There is no place for this BS. None. A I said...I was naive...I wasn't so young even then...but naive....stupid.
We can and should talk about the impact of tax another time. I have strong views about that.
