A very sensible, considered post. However I think you (and others) can now form the view that control of the board has been hijacked by a shareholder group which represents a minority of shareholders. According to Ian Mann (his post today) this group has been responsible for the appointment of eight of the last nine directors. You can probably see a parallel with the board changes at Rision Ltd. (shares have been suspended since April 17). Optiscan has a very bright future - with the appropriate directors and management. If the support of Zeiss is only guaranteed with one particular set of directors then to achieve that success then that group of directors (Mann, Fraser and Grey) is the only one to choose. If Currie, Lurie and Mutton (with Lendich as GM) remain as directors then the future of Optiscan is less certain.
It's only one vote per share but that vote should be used very wisely.
