They are sampling perpendicular to the vein. So actually no the interval isn't even 1.96m. Just because you don't understand the sampling technique doesn't make it incorrect.
Obviously you wouldn't sample a drill hole that way but how prohibitive do you think channel sampling 1.3km of vein would be rather than doing what they did and take perpendicular samples to provide representational intersections.
Honestly I don't think it was that unclear. Anyone who can't interpret the results probably shouldn't be buying more than claiming bluebird have been disingenuous.
