"RACE 4: The Daily Telegraph Stan Fox Stakes 1500m (Group 2)
The Autumn Sun – Slow to begin. Prior to the declaration of correct weight connections gave consideration to whether they had grounds for an objection against Tarka being declared the winner due to interference suffered by the colt in the early part of the straight. Connections were satisfied that there were no grounds for an objection and when the Stewards were also satisfied, correct weight was declared.
Leaving the 600m The Autumn Sun became held up on the back of Master Ash and on straightening attempted to improve between Master Ash and Tarka where there was insufficient room to do so. As a consequence, The Autumn Sun made contact with Tarka resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced and approaching the 300m The Autumn Sun having to be checked when disappointed between Master Ash and Tarka. K McEvoy was advised he must ensure when he improves into a run there is sufficient room to do so."

The horse blew in the betting from 1.85 to 2.35 just before the jump.
The rider made "mistakes positioning the horse during the run" imo or was it bad luck . I'll go with the jockey making mistakes. imo
At the end of the day the horse ends up going around for the run. Ridden with more intent ...the horse wins! imo
